Pinot Noir 2015
All estate grown. 390 dozen. Creamy oak adds velvet to the texture but the fruit sizzles through, all red cherry and sweet-sour plum, spice notes studded throughout. It’s in impeccable form and shape, its lines of tannin helping to usher it all along and keep things neat without interrupting the momentum a jot. Maybe there’s some warmth but the fan of flavours doesn’t really give it space to show. It’s a lovely pinot, for now of later.
